List the different states, cities, provinces, etc. that you've traveled to see Ian, Martin and the boys.
Who here will have traveled the furthest to see Jethro Tull?

I live in California, but my wife and I saw Jethro Tull in a small city in the eastern most part of France called Colmar. It is about an hour or two north of Strasbourg. Ian and the boys were playing a farm festival there, and my wife and I were visiting Paris and heard about it. On the train we went to Colmar, a city that looks like Hansel and Gretel used to live there with little canals meandering through the tiny storybook village. What a great time! Also saw JT in Miami, New York, L.A., only about twenty times.

I'll vote for Jim on this one! My longest Tull trip was in October 1997 from High Point, North Carolina to Burlington, Vermont. 15 hours each way was a long way for even myself and a friend who shared driving a rental car.
Thank goodness gas was cheaper in those days. Bought a War Child shirt from Paul (TM) too. ;D

I have started to follow the j.t Tour, in the late ' 70. Some concerts were also an excuse for a (short) vacation. Several times he has been in France: Lyon, Paris. Many in Switzerland, which is not very far from where I live: Bern, Basel, Lugano, Zurich. In Italy, my country, an almost incalculable number of times: Milan, Udine, Treviso, Bologna, Reggio Emilia, Modena, etc.. For two evenings, on the occasion of Christmas Concerts, accompanied by my daughter, we were also in Prague, maybe this is the far post where we followed the Tull ... Surprisingly, four years ago, they came to play in my home town, Monza !! It has been a sort og gift, for me from Ian. Many also show in England, since my mother-in-law lives ' and my kids are still studying: London, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Oxford. I really can't remember. The most beautiful thing is that each new date, for me it's always a real joy! For now, I'm waiting for the next show in 2 TaaB, in Zurich.

Actually, Chea, it is right on the French/German border. And even though Colmar is in France, many of the influences of the town including the food are German. It was certainly the most exotic location that I ever saw Jethro Tull.

The most distant place where I've seen Tull is Edinburgh, Scotland (2006). For Ian solo it was Rome, Italy (2004, orchestral date). Aside from shows in my homeland Poland, I travelled to see Tull/IA in Germany (three times), UK (two times), Italy, Lithuania and Austria.

On the SFTW tour in March of 77 I saw the band in Seattle on a Thursday night, and a friend attending Washington State University in the small Eastern Washington town of Puillman got tickets for a bunch of us to see them there that Saturday. We made the 5 hour drive there and it turned out that the seats were in the 3rd row stage left, in front of Martin. That Pullman show was "almost" as good as the 1972 TAAB concert I saw - absolutely amazing. We went out and celebrated all night afterward.
