Thomas Wolfe Countdown 2012On August 14th last year I created a shrine dedicated to bringing Tull to North Carolina. It worked! ;D First is my official Tull Shrine which will eventually cause Jethro Tull to return to a venue in North Carolina. The Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville is my personal choice. Remember how much fun we had in 2002?[glow=red,2,300]31 Days to Tull ![/glow]

I'll be there too! Driving up from NW Georgia. I'll be at the show the night before in Atlanta also!!!! How's the Auditorium? What's up with ticket sales? I think it's only a little over 1/2 sold? We better call 1000 of our closest friends. NINTH ROW DEAD FUCKING CENTER!!!!!!!! Its a pretty large venue isn't it? Is it around 3000

"Take me on the ghost train. 20p and there you are. Scary in the tunnel night. White knuckle fingers on the safety bar. Which way to blue skies? Phantoms pop from cupboard doors. Mocking, manic laughter shrieks, dark promises of blood and gore."... [glow=red,2,300]30 Days to Tull ![/glow]

"Interventions at every turn. Opportunities thrown wide and far. Journeys I might never take. TomTom thinks he knows just where we are.
Ripples from a pebble thrown make tsunami on a foreign shore. I would slip right off this high-rise hell but the elevator stops at every floor."[glow=red,2,300]29 Days to Tull[/glow]

"Twelve, going on sixteen. Such a rush to grow old and wise. Endless possibilities. Follow, soaring where the eagle flies. Which way to blue skies? Mummy said don’t go out alone. I hear bad name-calling, derisory. So, choose direction, and turn the stone."[glow=red,2,300]28 Days to Tull[/glow]

Interesting how you continue to refer to Ian's band as as "New Tull". www.jethrotull.com/musicians/index.htmlMark Knopfler has a new double album and is touring. I wonder if his fans will refer to his band as New Dire Straits?

I wonder if his fans will refer to his band as New Dire Straits? It is not an official Tull tour. Only "Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson Tour". My only point is there are 4 or 5 members that played as Jethro Tull in the past. For me Anoushka Shankar or Anna Phoebe or Eddie Jobson are also former members. (guests) My personal belief is the music is played and sounds like Tull to me. Others are free to disagree. ;D Tully Ho.

Thanks for the laugh Jim, that was very good. ;D In my humble opinion. ;D ;D Now that's kinda pushin it How can it be your opinion when the fact is he isn't a member of Jethro Tull? Just because he played as a fill-in for some shows? Also wouldn't Ian have simply called taab2 "Jethro Tull"?? Sure you have every right to pretend or imagine he is Jethro Tull if you really want to, but that's all it is. Imagination ;D

"I was no good on the rugger field. Pushing and kicking, brutish boys bothered me. Sensitive and caring seemed the lighter, brighter way to be. Mr Jennings, good housemaster, seemed instinctively to understand. Touched me with his gentle presence. Under bedclothes, underhand. Underhand."[glow=red,2,300]19 Days to Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson[/glow] ;D

"Overnight, he did a runner, threatened with harsh expose. I fell to pieces, dropped out of classes into life's endless melee. Endless melee. Parents listened, didn’t get it. Poof and Jesse, Daddy said. Mummy tried but fussed and fretted, skeletons best left under bed. Under the bed. Camden Market in the winter, a cold stone’s throw from Kentish Town. Got a minute? Just the ticket! Meet the boys and mess around. And mess around. Independence far from suburbia. Doss down and dirty, tucked up tight. How’s your father? Not too chipper? Serves the bugger flippin’ right. Flippin’ right."[glow=red,2,300]18 Days to Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson[/glow] ;D
