Trying to confirm lyrics off of Track 7 of 40th Anniversary Album which I can't for the life of me decipher (must need an "English" ear!). Anyone who can fill in the (_____) in the two lines below has my undying gratitude!
And later on (______) shouting for more And giving himself completely she (______) lonely for
Thanks for all wisdom offered . . . and it's only the giving that makes you what you are! Jimmy

Perhaps a commitment to a relationship as she gave up her virginity for the character. Just my interpretation. Been wrong before. Dan

Recently dusted this off and listened to it again . It really is a stunning piece and shows so many aspects of Ians writing . wonderful work

It is a great song. I know that Barrie played drums on a lot of the Living in the Past tracks, did he play on all the versions of this song or was it Clive?
