Genesis-Silent Sun The silent sun that never shines She is the warmth of my lonely heart The motion of a turning wheel Can't you stop it and look around?
Baby you feel so close I wish you could see my love Baby you've changed my life I'm trying to show you...
A tiny stone that hides from me Can't you see that I'm just outside? A mountain stream that chills the sea Can't you feel in your useless pride?

This is kind of off topic but does anybody know where i could find a jacket like the one Ian wore in 1970, like at the Isle Of Wight Festival??? Ian probably had them made. Back in the day I was looking for the grey coat with the black sleeves and collar, that looked like a pirate coat. It also looked like Alex's coat from A Clockwork Orange. Many in clothing stores told me they had seen nothing like them and were most likely custom made. They were known at the time as "Maxi coats" Darin

After that came the grey tailored coat with the large black cuffs, big buttons and collar, very snappy looking, which is the one I'm referring to, then came the ripped up checkered coat, then the "Anderson plaid" coat in 72 73 I've heard him tell the story that in 67/68 he was so cold in his flat, he'd sleep in that big grey overcoat, and in the morning if he wanted a drink of water from the glass next to his bed, he had to break the ice in the top. "Made no sense to leave the bed, the bad old days, they came and went. Giving way to fruitful years."

That's really inspiring as well....I currently live in a place that gets that cold...last winter a couple of mornings we could see our breath. Wore coats to bed. Just like Ian, it can and will be better one day!

i like the gray one too, but does anybody know where i could get one that even looks like any of the jackets he wore back in the late 60's early 70's, it doesn't have to be the checkered one. Please & thanks

That's not something we've ever considered to be very important. With the tribute band issue that came up recently, all I meant to do was to inform people that there were already existing threads on the same bands, in case they wanted to learn more information about those bands. That's why I did not move or combine the similar threads. I simply commented that there was another thread, and provided the link to that thread in case people wanted to know more. I am a little surprised you are referring to that again. I thought that we had discussed it and that you had accepted my explanation. Jeff

I think it is fair to report that he can open a thread to find this jacket One is to put some order, such as thread-flute prog-rock has become a puzzle... I hope Jim Carson, not this bothersome, just give an alternative that may be more answers Jeff the theme that you mentions is forgotten *Surely not expressing well Remy
