Darin, Biggles, Jack et al,
Thanks for the reviews, really nice writing chaps!
Made this old git wish he'd been there for that one.
The more I hear of the reviews of the board's members the more I'm impressed by the band and the shows that Ian and James and others have put together.
It's probably just me, but I'd rather hear a good review from some of our true fans who may have cast a critical eye over past Tull outings and who appear to have been pleasently and even more impressed by what they have seen and heard on this tour. That to me gives strength and greater validity to the honesty expressed in the review.
So thanks for all the Long Beach reviews and all the others from the US gigs, keep 'em coming folks.

It is harder to judge from a newspaper critic what really happened. Most fans are usually very honest about what they expect and what they see or hear. They don't always agree and that is fine. I prefer honesty from someone who cares more about the music. Keep the reviews coming from all Board members.

Check out my review of the Oct. 4th Mohegan Sun show: thejethrotullboard.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tours&action=display&thread=3233I've been disillusioned with the general direction and output of the band for years, so I was quite skeptical about the whole TAAB2 thing....until I heard it for the first time. Even then, I wasn't so sure how the live show would turn out or how this Broadway actor kid on vocals would work, but it did and was far beyond my wildest expectations. I'd be kicking myself if I had missed this show and if he swings through the area with another leg next year, you can be damn sure I'll be buying another ticket.
