Since we're on the subject.. My frontman Greg of my new endeavor "The Shuffling Madness" does a great job IMO. As an accomplished flutist, saxophonist, vocalist and harp player some of his flute lines send shivers down my spine. Plus the band are experts at improv so we will mix it up also. We will likley not wear wigs but our frontman may bring up a leg from time to time just for the overall spectacle. This is a Tull tribute concert afterall. Our formal introduction and mission statement soon! Sounds excellent! If you guys ever make your way down close to CT, I'll be there for sure.

So this is dedicated to you and your dedication in bringing Ians great flute lines to a hungry public. I never got a chance to form a Tull tribute band, we never played more then 3 or 4 Tull songs when I did covers, we had the silly idea of writing originals.....but we all know that thats a dead end. This is my imitation of a guy who apparently needs to go to the bathroom, but once I started practicing I couldn't quit! Darin Cody Wow Darin, very impressive! Maybe you could come to one of our shows and we'll get you up on stage to play something with us. Where are you located? We have a NY show coming up on Sept 7th. Keep me posted and we'll set something up with you. How bout the Locomotive solo?

Well that's most thoughtful Ray, but flying out to New York or CO from CA for a 1 chorus solo would be hard to justify. Now if Doane andor Martin were involved and I was to share the stage with them for a couple tunes I think I could light that fire. Maybe your guys could learn one of my tunes........that would be a hoot. Here's one, a little long but stick with it it turns out ok. Not altogether UnTull like. See you at the next big convention. Oh, CA, huh? Yeah, that wouldn't work for you. Since we have been asked by Mark Cuban to play in LA, if we did that maybe we would do 1-2 other shows in CA and you could do something with us then.
We may do a couple more shows in CO in a couple months, and there is strong interest in that, so maybe you could do a quick 1 hr flight. Not sure about Doane for the Oct shows, but May 2014 with Doane and Martin could be a strong possibility. We already have a date locked in where we did the convention show. You can always email us at lwtp@universerecords.com. Keep in touch and best of luck with your music.
Ray
P.S. If you can't sit in with us maybe we can get this guy to join us:
