Well I don't mind a good love song once in a while but it is the overiding subject matter of struggling songwriters.
Yes to narrowing it down.....what is "tainted" love?

That be true.
Tainted love usually means it's not going over well. Usually means that one or both of the peoplef in the relationship may be jealous to the point of being enraged or out to kill the other person. There are a ton of Irish songs about this, usually the woman wants to kill the man. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" I said this once to a guy. His response? "I'm not scared of you" Well, you should be, I'm part Irish too. LOL. This would potentially overlap January's subject.
