Hallo Friends . I think it's impossible to get bored with Ian! During the year, there will be a brief interruption of the Tour of TaaB2, with "The Best OF". This intrigues me greatly. What does Ian means for "The Best Of"? Fabulous!! So this year, loyal fans can attend 2 TaaB, "The Best Of", and the Christmas Show. I can't wait to be there. My tickets are already ready. Hey Michele, The best-of show will be your typical Tull set played by the TAAB2 band. Enjoy the shows. And there's a chance I'll meet you in December! Paul

Yeah, TM, who is going to be loud and obnoxious with me? If Kenny goes, you guys can get a fruit basket, leave it out in the sun for awhile and sit in a small room with no windows while I go off and have fun. I'll invite Jen for all your whining needs. Get Quizz to canoe across the pond and come with us too. Come to New England! It's just like Olde England but New. If Pat, Danno, and Tabit are going then I'm definitely coming! And you know when it comes to obnoxious and getting into trouble, I'm your guy.

TM, what are you doing in Delaware? I just got an image in my head of Wayne's World...remember..."Hey...we're in...Delaware" Every Columbus Day, Mrs. TM, another couple, and I head down to Delaware for our annual 3-day weekend of tennis, blue-claw crabs, and suds. It turns out Columbus Day always coincides with the ladies birthdays, so it's tough for me to break these plans.

Sounds like fun, I didn't even realize it was Columbus Day weekend, it's always a fun weekend to go somewhere.
Oh boogers though. I thought this was the year for a reunion.
How many fights did we all almost get into with people. haha. Remember we brought you to the cheesiest restaurant in RI. I guess because it was so late from standing out in the rain for four days as our friends would probably claim. You said, "Are we in Denny's?" Because it's RI's version of a Denny's but it's closed now. And the gay waiter who called you "Dude" condescendingly because our waitress disappeared or something. Then he appeared. You said, "Why are you calling me 'Dude'?" haha. Then there was some kind of napkin crisis...lol.

I don't remember why though, as I'm always polite to waiters and waitresses as long as they use proper hygiene. I don't remember the napkins crisis, but I can only assume I didn't have one, and it became a "crumbs on the breakfast table" moment. Are you trying to say I'm difficult?

Be a definite plus if you were able.

As long as someone stays on your good side. Ha I had a crumbs on a breakfast table moment the other day. I swear I thought of that. I finished all the dishes and realized there was a crockpot still not washed with nasty stuff in it. First world problems. I also remember a conversation that night and you had told me that the ballerina on APP cover was Jennie Anderson. I kept saying, Nooo, that's not her. haha. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bickford's_(restaurant) That was the restaurant. Known for a late night place, people went to after shows or parties.

Maybe we're going to visit them next summer, also because I know my wife from 16 years, but I've never seen her sister in person! Her husband has been here and in U. K some times why he works for an oil company, Shell Petrol, then he happened to come here to work.

Some kind of Irish stew? You know, I don't think I normally proclaim anything that is "wrong". Prior to a couple cocktails anyway.

It's good but for some reason I've not been hungry for anything in particular lately. Nothing sounds good. I'm in a food rut..I made the grossest sandwich the other day. So I've not been eating much. I say screw it and just eat an orange. Lol.

How the Tull 1978 tour almost caused me to not exist:
My mom always told me this story, I've partially told it to Steve, but my mom was invited to go to Jethro Tull one year as a teenager with this guy. She didn't care for Tull, the only song she kind of liked was LITP. She thought the guy was nice. She was kind of meh about him and didn't care to go to Tull. She faked a broken arm in order to try not to hurt the guy's feelings. She even wrapped it up. She said she still feels bad about it to this day, and that her parents were not very happy about her being dishonest to this person. I asked her about it again today. I originally thought she said she was around 15...I thought it may be have 75 or 76 or something...turns out no, she was 17 and the year was 1978. Heavy Horses tour? She faked an injury to get out of the Heavy Horses tour? *faints* I would love to go back, take her place and go to the show. I never had the chance. Seeing Tull in the 70's is like a magical world that I know nothing about. She thinks if she went with the guy, she might've given him a chance, being a nice guy that he was, but she didn't. And if she had, I might not be here. She met my father a year after that, then of course I came along, a couple of years after.
So...I look this up on the Ministry of Information and find it was at the Civic Center in Providence, now called The Dunkin Donuts Center. Wasn't much as far at setlists to go by...I have kind of an idea by the other shows close to the date. Did anyone else go to this show? It finally occurred to me to look at the date. October 12th. Will be 35 years ago exactly at this show in Boston.
