Of course some of us will probably revisit this album later and discover a newfound appreciation for it. Knowing myself, this might happen in 2 or 3 years

Of course some of us will probably revisit this album later and discover a newfound appreciation for it. Knowing myself, this might happen in 2 or 3 years I'm sure it will happen with a lot of us. It really isn't a bad album. It is very well thought out, professionally executed, intuitive of the times, not a weak release in my opinion, in fact it is a bold release. A lot of us are just burnt out from all of the excitement. Same thing happens 3 hours after you smoke a doobie. Kidding. Kidding? I can't remember. Anyway, I'm sure future releases will give us different opinions and perspectives. It is a good time to be a Tull fan. EDIT: or an Ian fan, either way.

The way I see this is simply I would rate this a 3 out of 5. For many of the reason already stated.
The most important thing to remember is that it is an Ian release, which in my mind is so far above what is out there (IMO).
More encouraging is the fact that from IA mind and creativity are 3 more albums ooops I mean Cd's left in him, and with one out in April/May of 2014. SO yes it is a good time to be a fan of Ian and musicians he chooses to surround himself with. We all have our favorites and such, but the bottom line is Ian has a lot more to go.
No Way To Slow Down !!!

No Way To Slow Down !!! Hell yeah! We're here over 40 years after the birth of Tull, we've had years of great listens and still have more to look forward to. Not bad at all.

Yeah, fortunately Ian began thinking Elvis Presley..."It's Now Or Never".
