Oops, too fast. I wanted to say like Paul I stopped collecting. Not videos, but bootlegs. I had hundreds of them but decided to re-evaluate them about 5 years ago. What I now have is the best boot imho from each tour op to 2002. I can post the list here if there is any interest for it. We coukld even start a poll on what's the best boot ever.
Cheers, Jan

Cheers, Jan Can't wait to see your "best of boots" list, Jan! I collected probably around 40-45 Tull bootlegs when I moved to the City in the late eighties when they were easy to find in various record shops down in the Village, such as Bleecker Bobs, Golden Disc, Revolver Records, Second Coming Records, etc., most (if not all) of which have sadly gone out of business. Jeff Me too! I was actually going to ask essentially this question of you all regarding the Tull edumacation project I'm about to start. My idea was to find out what are like the best 2-3 shows from each year/tour, so I can pick one to put in the lineup for listening in between studio albums. (Yes, I'm going all out for this, and will eventually be showing vids as well, when there is time.)

The one which would be good to start off with is that 'Watchers of the Storm' bootleg from the Stormwatch tour. It starts off with seven or eight songs in a row from Stormwatch before Ian even speaks a word! I'll have to go through my collection for additional suggestions, and I'm sure Jan's post will be very helpful as well. Jeff

Good stuff, Paul. I will eventually get around to putting some of my stuff up here -- not endless threads of it, but maybe one or two choice items here and there, plus more importantly my pictures from Skye. That's if I ever set up the extra scanner Derek had, which he was kind enough to send me as a gift! I'm hoping to do it tomorrow....before taking my boy to see Rangers v. Flyers.

Jeff Thanks Nonfatman. How are you doing anyway with the diet? I lost a whole 2 lbs. How much is that in stones anyway? I'd love to see your pics from Skye. I was digging through some of Tull stuff this evening before the power went out. I have a bunch a South American articles that someone was kind enough to send me back in my collecting days. Maybe our very own sexy actor friend would be interested in interpreting them for us?

BTW, were these things numbered? I don't recall seeing that. Another lie!!! Well, aren't there numbers on that little paper label bit that sealed the box? I could be wrong, as I don't know where mine is at the moment to check. If they DO contain numbers, I don't know if they are unique or not. Merits a look-see, maybe? I've lost like 15 pounds. Am I winning? Since the end of August, I think I've lost about the same. (And with no special effort, either!) On some days it's a little bit more. I can never tell for sure as the stupid digital scale will tell me three different amounts within 5 minutes. Now if I could kill another 20, I'd be pleased. OMG, that's too funny, I'm married to a slightly chunky hairy stubbly guy.... Hmm, maybe there's something to that article... Following an 8-yr disaster, I then spent almost 2 years going after the 'good-looking enough they could pass for mundanes' scifi fanboys. (Trust me, they exist.) I failed dismally with this strategy. Then I finally opened my eyes to what had been right in front of me all the time and well, 7.5 months later we're still awesome... ;D (This was taken at con last Thanksgiving weekend.)

If I did, I guess I'm over it now! ;D So either you have a very good memory and I have a poor one, or vice versa!

Which reminds me, that TM hates to be called dude... Here's the thing, Holly, when I was in college my friends and I loved girls like you...totally cool, who you could just joke around with, crack sex jokes, pretty much say anything, and they were just cool with it all...one of the guys almost. That's the way we feel about you, comfortable I guess to joke about most anything. So what Paul said to you was no different than when me and him call each other "bastards", you know just a bit of good natured fun, same with what I said, we don't mean anything by it. You know how we are here, just look at some of the jokes that are going up! Steelmonkey compared our board to the other board by saying that their board is like "skiing down easy blue slopes, while our board is like snowboarding with extreme sports guys." I loved that! Jeff
