Pretty sweet interview...I love hearing about how it really was chance that Ian started on the flute.
But at the beginning of the interview at first it appears, that Ian is ignoring the questions and just playing the flute over them. Haha. And was thinking wouldn't that be funny if he was actually doing that. Or when an interviewer is asking questions that Ian doesn't like...well, just pick up the flute and drown them out. Ha! Hmm, I could be just overtired.

I guess Ian is going to stick to that story......it is essentially the same in that he saw a random choice and took it, but Glenn Cornick seems pretty certain (he has stated this as a certainty more than once) of his differing version of the story. Ian and he went to a friends house that owed Ian money, the guy didn't have it and offered the flute as repayment. As far as a good story to tell in an interview, Glenn's sounds pretty believable, but a little seedier.........hence..... Darin
