I didn't think solo show audiences acted like that, it was just uncouth 'Jethro Tull' types shouting Aqualung and Rock On.
Seems they get everywhere these days.

I don't think Ian will ever escape those people no matter what he calls himself. Even if it was a performance entitled "Ian Anderson Reads Titus Andronicus Quietly," there would still be those expecting Aqualung and shouting for it.  |

When I saw Tull live I kept shouting out "Purple Haze!!!" Now I'm thinking I shouldn't have done it.

Who on earth would go to a "progressive show" with quiet pensive passages through out and yell or even say.....Lets Rock!! Oh wait, I can think of one person....never mind. So he's not going to use Martin for the Titus Andronicus Tour? Just a guess Well, maybe the Titus Andronicus 2 tour or the ocassional best of Titus Andronicus gig. |

I've never had the urge to shout out songs at artists at shows. I just went to a show recently. Singer played mostly old traditional Irish songs and some of his own songs that were similar to that style. Some chick was yelling out, "Play Brown Eyed Girl!" over and over and that's not even something he plays. He finally said, "Fraid not...to that request" I wanted to say, "Shut up bitch!" but I don't yell out so I didn't.
