Had a few beers last night and feeling melancholy I typed a search for John Glasscock and this came up, perhaps from a DVD or something

That's from a BBC documentary I think from 1977. Fantastic piece of music isn't it? I think it was played during a tull convention in Italy. Still hoping to find a boot of that!

That was a 1979 BbC Documentary (can't remember what it was titled at the moment) and that song they are rehearsing was called "Apocalypse". It was performed by Dee Palmer and Beggars Farm and looks like Paul Forest singing and playing flute, at a Tull convention. Tull never recorded this song from what I remember reading. See the video. Darin Wow, Darin, what a great find! Did Dee Palmer provide the lyrics as well as the music? The song sounds like prime Tull. Too bad it has never been recorded! I wonder if they had decided not to record it for Stormwatch, or if they didn't start rehearsing it until after the album was released. It would have been a great addition to that album. Great performance by these guys and gal.

Darin Hi All, I watched this video and showed it to Paul (Forrest), who pointed out that these pictures are actually from a Tull convention that took place in Germany in either 2004 or 2005, where the Dayglo Pirates (of which Paul was the frontman) performed with Dee Palmer. We're not sure why these pics were used to represent a performance of Beggars Farm with Dee Palmer at the convention in 2001. Total misrepresentation. I posted a comment to the person who uploaded the video on You Tube. Best, Marcie

I recall they posted someone's instrumental as Ian's "new song" a few years ago. They are also known for taking people's Tull photos and videos and posting them as their own. It's pretty pathetic really. Hope all is well over in Israel! Best, Paul

Since Paul was part of the "Dayglo Pirates" this didn't make sense as a "Beggar's Farm" video. No wonder. Too bad Ian and Martin never recorded this back then though.

Anyway, I've had an exchange with the person who uploaded the clip and he said he'd remove it and possibly reload it in the future with the "correct" pictures. Best, Marcie
