Thanks for supporting my show, Pat. We're only at the beginning of the journey, but I've already had a tremendous reaction and tremendous success! I'd like to extend my sincere appreciation to Ian for taking a minute out of his busy day to do this for me. My head's still reeling!!
I'm still overwhelmed at the positive responses we've gotten from the show. I'm working the best I can to get to all of them and thank each one of you personally. This is great ... I haven't been this genuinely happy in a long time and each day brings a new surprise. Thanks for helping me to keep the prog alive. Oh, and while we're at it, due to popular demand, the show has been extended to three hours (7-10 instead of 8-10 pm), so I can have a bit more time for longer songs, requests, and all of the banter between Dom and I! On a side note, I'm now accepting requests for show #3 - which will be an Aristocrats feature, but I'm looking for other things, besides A-Crats to play ... Though if you want to request material from "Culture Clash" I'm all for it! We're still not exactly sure what we'll be playing, but it is the involvement of YOU that makes this show special. Your requests, your promos, your voice that makes this show unique and eclectic.
Oh and by the way, here's the setlists for shows 1 and 2...

This week, we are proud to present a truly eclectic setlist, with tunes ranging as far back as the late 60's until 2013. We will be featuring tracks from artists who performed at the Rock In Opposition festival over the past weekend, including Faust, Univers Zero, and Panzerpappa, culminating in Guapo's sensational performance of their opus Five Suns at NEARfest 2006. In addition to this, we will also be featuring some classic Canterbury by way of Caravan and Egg, as well as some modern music from The Wrong Object - a Belgian band which started life as a Zappa cover band, before expanding into their own quirky form of progressive rock. Tune in for all of this and much more! Also, if you missed our exclusive interview with Miriodor, you can listen to it here:
It's been a long time since I posted, but Deep Cuts is still going strong! You can listen to the most recent show (#22) here. It features (among other things), a modern group called Blood Ceremony. Think Benefit-era Tull meets Sabbath meets Fairport, with flute. No joke!
TM: Oh man, what an incredible show! I have picks and videos to post.
