Originally, I believe it's fair to say that I sought to begin my YouTube activities in order to publicly celebrate my deep affection for Tull's rich body of musical works -- specifically by way of spotlighting some utterly stellar live performances.
So then, here are some links to a number of my humble offerings, and it is my hope that everyone will get as much enjoyment out of viewing & listening to them as I once derived from piecing them together.
WIND UP & BACKDOOR ANGELS - live (Jethro Tull)
DUN RINGILL - live (Jethro Tull)
DARK AGES - live [early version] (Jethro Tull)
AQUALUNG - live [redux version] (Jethro Tull)

Welcome Gothling! (Passion Play Fan) I seem to remember trading posts with you on youtube a while back. Good to see you made it here. Its a great place! Lots of doors to open….wander around, its candy land for Tull fans. Enjoyed you videos for a while! Darin And hello to you, Darin. Thank you so much for your very kind greeting, as it surely went a long way towards making me feel welcome. I must admit, I'm not at all experienced with these kinds of web group affairs, despite the efforts of some to lure me over to the Boris Karloff and/or the Monster Kids boards (a couple of my other deep-seeded interests). However, considering my unbounded affection of Tull's vastly impressive and incomparable discography (which has, by this point in time, spanned more than four decades), it's only fitting that I perhaps seek to finally take the plunge in this particular place. Wow! You certainly did hit the ol' nail directly on its head when you stated that this place was akin to "candy land for Tull fans". What an utterly astounding and wondrous corner of the net! I've been alternately pinching myself in gleeful disbelief, whilst also kicking myself for not coming over here much sooner. For me, being an ardent admirer of Tull's splendid musical wares has largely been a solitary experience -- cast within a harrowing abyss of mind-numbing mediocrity, where the faddish practitioners of lesser musical forms seemed to consistently dominate the greater public consciousness. So, it's quite a sobering and joyous notion to think that my own profound reverence is, indeed, mirrored within the hearts and minds of so many others out there in cyberspace. Anyway, I won't drone on any longer here. Thanks again for your very thoughtful greeting, and for your very kind acknowledgements of my meager little video tributes. Best wishes always, my Tull brother... -- Steve
