Apparently Glenn is in hospice care in Hawaii. Prayers and best wishes go out to him, his wife and family.

I spent quite of bit of time talking with Glenn at a Tull gathering years ago. Very kind man. Obviously very passionate about his music and his time with Tull. I loved his contribution to the band. Condolences to his family. RIP Glenn

So sad. Glenn's bass playing was a major factor in me following Tull in the early days

Hopefully, he enjoyed the SW remix of Benefit before he became ill. I was staring at it last night. Spooky.
He described his bass in Tull as "singing". So true. RIP Glenn.

Nothing Is Easy, but With You There To Help Me, then it probably will.
Peace out, Glenn.

Rest in peace Glenn Cornick. His contributions to the band Jethro Tull where enormous IMO.

Hi all,
I'm very sorry to hear about the untimely passing of Glenn. As a youngster I was always thrilled by his style of bass-playing. It's always pumpingm thriving, pushing. Coming from a blues background, Glenn was the best bass [layer for Tull to have in that era. I hope his wife and young children can overcome this loss and will be informed that we grieve with them
Cheers,
Jan, who will listen now to Flute Cake (1969), a live album from the Stockholm concert, where Glen excells....

RIP, Glenn, Tull's greatest bass player, among many great ones, and very accessible and forthcoming to fans. The bass line to Wondering Again may have been one of his best. Very sad to lose a founding member of the original band. Jeff

Lot of pics that I hadn't seen. I always like the on-stage pictures especially the one of them playing Hyde Park in front of a whopping 7,000 people.
