Surprised nobody commented on this. It is nice that the door isn't closed all the way. I would have liked to see them do an acoustic tour that was once talked about. I thought there was a little chop there when he said that Martin should explore his creative side. Dan

My interpretation is Jethro Tull is over. But that's OK. They have done more than most bands.

He is such a strong person. thick as a brick, that by virtue of the force of what he thinks and does, and says, it is real for him. He has no truck with any sentimentality over Martin or living in the past. He loves it all, amd he loves himself more and that's a relatively unrecognized part of his genius. That's what I got out of that.
