Ran across a Phil Lynott live tribute with commentary that I want to share with Tull fans. Why? because its got Jonathan Noyce on bass. Here's the link: If you don't want to hear all the yakking there's also vids of just the concert

There have been some good electric blues players over the years, from Clapton to SRV to Bonamossa and others, but for my money, as far as having a guy just come out and rip it up on stage, I'll take Gary Moore. He always pulled the trigger, played from the heart, and delivered to the solar plexus.

Seems our old friend Jon Noyce gets around quite a bit these days. Bet this was a challenging gig. Here he shows up in Paris with Gary Green's Three Friends, a band who plays the music of Gentle Giant and does a fair job of it I have to say. Green, original member of Giant on guitar, with Malcolm Mortimere from the early Giant period on drums.

Thanks Michael. What a treat. I saw Gentle Giant open for Tull back in the day.
