Quizz Kid

Quizz Kid is a brand new Tull tribute band from the Czech Republic. It is a spinoff band from Bratranci Veverkove, who are still active, so you've got two Czech Republic tribute bands both originally founded by Jan Jezek, a/k/a Jeffrey Vervekove, nicknamed after one of several Vervekove cousins who were farmers in Czechoslavakia in the 18th Century, I think, and who apparently invented some innovative agricultural equipment, just like the "real" Jethro Tull. I may be off a little in my description, but it's something like that. I'm sure JTB member 'jeffreyverekove' will fill us in with additional details and corrections here, as well as supply links to QK's website and FB page!

Like the original Bratranci Veverkove band, the Quizz Kids kick considerable ass, and they've got spot-on vocals:

The weird thing about all this is that apparently Jan's Quizz Kid bandmates are asking him to use Bratranci Veverkove as the new band's name, instead of Quizz Kid, but I don't see how that can work because the original Bratranci Veverkove are clearly a separate band and are still very active. Talk about confusing, Jan! Hopefully, litigation can be avoided.

Thanks Jeff for the humorous entree.
And sorry for my late reply. Most of what were said before is true, but not in the right order

So i will try to put some light in this "curious case". For that reason "not to be confusing" i will use full names of the bands.

From the 2004 till 2013 were one band called Bratranci Veverkove (JETHRO TULL tribute band). In the year 2013 we had some "personel crisis" inside the band, which led to the band breakup. So the former band Bratranci Veverkove (JETHRO TULL tribute band) no longer exists. But two old/new bands were born.

The rest of the former band ask us if they can use part of the former band name and so they now call them self as Bratranci Veverkove plays Jethro Tull.

We are the bigger part of the last lineup (VOC, FL, BG, DR) and we named the new band as a QUIZZ KID (Jethro Tull tribute).
