This is primed to be re-worked... and with so many multi-tracked shows to choose from... a deluxe edition would be full of surprises... or even a full show.
To say nothing of a vinyl release.
And video?
Hope I live long enough to see this. LOL

Hope he does the 80s albums too and fixes the drums on the 4 albums from 1982-1989. Can also fix the vocals on crest and rock

I concur -- A Little Light Music in 5.1 surround sound? Imagine hearing the famous Pegg/Mattacks rhythm section interpreting the spines of Ian's material while Martin works his fretboard magic. Take my money (dosh/wonga) as soon as possible in exchange for such a product, Mr. Ian Anderson. Also, Ian, if you have any quality recordings from the Rock Island tour, I'd appreciate even a simple 2-CD set in old-fashioned stereo; the 1989 Jethro Tull tour stands out in my memory as singular and wondrous with many pieces of music that have not been represented in official live offerings as of the present (24 May 2016).

An expanded Little Light Music would be awesome, but the chances of SW doing it are 0 I guess. He´s not even doing the 80s stuff. For teh moment he´s busy with Stand Up and SFTW.

I passed on this tour because everthing was scaled back. No keyboards, and Martin was experimenting with a small amp. Not a favorite release for me

I'll buy two copies when the Deluxe comes out to make up for the loss of sale from Biggles. Throw in a vinyl release and I'll buy that as well. I remain a very big fan of this album.

I didn't say I don't own it (because I do). I only said it was "not a favorite" and that "I passed on this tour". I don't hate it. Also, this is a DAT recording so SW will have to work some magic to warm it up. There's probably a lot of new technology out that I'm not aware of that could do this but the recording sounds a little thin to me. I play it now and then because I love the Peggy/Mattacks rhythm section and I am a diehard Tull fan

When you are in a stripped down, almost acoustic format... that's when the warmth (and in a perfect world analog recording) should shine. I have often wondered if any shows were pro-shot as well... would have seemed a logical video release... alas... probably not...

I remember an '02 concert and Ian pointing out a person with a handy cam to security. He was trying to stop bootlegs, that's fine but, what a missed opportunity. I don't understand why he didn't just hire a small film crew over the years, could've been gold.
