Hi everyone, Not sure where to post this so I'll go with general for now. There's a specific keyboard/organ sound I'm trying to identify that feature prominently on the Heavy Horses album. I'm not well versed in the different settings/models and am not sure if it's Dee Palmer or John Evan playing that part. The Rockpop 1978 clip shows a bit of the keyboards used. I could identify an "ARP OMNI" logo played by Dee Palmer but the video doesn't seem to match the playing. I'd rather let the music do the talking: Jethro Tull - And The Mouse Police Never Sleeps (Rockpop, 03.06.1978)The sound starts at 1:33. Sounds like a Hammond Organ but I can't figure out what it is exactly. It doesn't have that typical bright progressive sound. It's very "Tully" to me, earthy, deeper, more entrancing. I like it a lot, I just have no idea what it is! Rover (2003 Remaster)The same sound is featured on this track's intro and in various licks throughout. 2:20 - has a 10 second lick featuring this sound more prominently. Could someone identify this instrument/settings? I would love to hear more of it. Thanks.
