Crap! I already pre-ordered this @ Amazon U.K. thinking that it wouldn't be available in the U.S. like the Tull Classic Artists DVD. That one was PAL region as I'm sure the one from Amazon U.K. is also and I was only able to view the discs on my computer and not my DVD player.

Hate responding to my own quote, but if there are any members from the UK or PAL region folks here-I would be happy to forward my PAL DVD (after I get my U.S. my DVD) to you free of charge. I also see that the U.S. version has a CD which the UK version doesn't have. I also don't remember bagpipes opening our show on Oct.8th.

Will you be purchasing that item? I ordered it. And you? My first Tull concert, Barrie, John, David in tails, and Ian could sing! Must have Tull.

I will definitely be picking this one up, which will be my first new Tull purchase in several years, having said no to some of the recent DVD, orchestral and best of releases. Jeff

TM: There are two of the same DVDs (Live at Madison Square Garden)...one is $18.99 and the other is $24.99. What is the difference between the two? I am assuming the $24.99 comes with a CD in addition to the DVD. Is this correct? ...Silken

Both comes with 2 discs so it's difficult to tell.

Does anybody know if the MSG DVD contains interrupted songs with band dialogue interspersed?

Heads up warning. I just received my UK copy of the MSG show and I am able to watch it on my computer , but the thing you can't read from the Amazon thumbnail is that the first three songs are audio only! Both on the PAL and NTSC versions. So no video of Sweet Dream, One Brown Mouse or Heavy Horses. Also, the last two songs which state are video-Too Old.., and My God/Cross-Eyed Mary also appear to be audio only but I would like confirmation from any PAL region folk on that. Tracks 4 through 11 play fine but this is stuff that I have in about three different formats and bought the DVD for the other 'unreleased 'stuff. Very misleading and very disappointing. If you have never seen the video, by all means get DVD, but there is nothing new for the die hards. I haven't listened to the cd yet so that may make up for some of it. Dan

The intro to Sweet Dream is almost worth the price alone. Too bad that it isn't on video.
It really reminds me of how the excitement built before Ian entered the stage.
However, there is some a*@hole blowing an air horn throughout the show.
Hopefully, it wasn't any of you, and more hopefully, he was deafened by the noise and didn't hear the bus that hopefully ran him over on the way home.
I just must be getting old.

I remember those beams of light that shined down across the entire stage. They seemed to set the band members behind this "gate" during Sweet Dream. To bad were not getting to see that.

Got my copy today! The CD sounds great! I highly recommend this for anyone who missed Tull in their heyday.
I get a kick hearing the crowd response, as I did back when I first saw them. Great memories.
