Mother Please Help Your Child - Skin Alley
Info: Skin Alley was formed in 1968 through a series of important personnel changes to finally stabilize around Thomas Crimble (keyboards, bass and vocals), Bob James (saxophone and guitar), Krzysztof Henryk Justkiewicz (keyboards) and Alvin Pope ( drums). Clearwater strategy to publicize Skin Alley with labels is their potential to play a maximum of free concerts in the London area.

VOIZ Boanerges - Keep Quiet 1977
This says in the description: Superb Dutch six-man progressive outfit that couples a hard-rock approach with classical flute accompaniment. The end result is a very bluesy sound not unlike early Jethro Tull recordings such as This Was and Stand Up. Only seven tracks, most being fairly long. 70s FM prog buffs will not be disappointed as they experience the slow burn of Keep Quiet and Little Words, or the grungy r&r boogie of All The Way From Fryslan, all with loud potent electric guitar leads. Quality Of Life and Laughing both supply whimsical upbeat moments, the latter making use of ukulele, clarinet, and fuzz bass. Dank U, the only non-English song, provides a quieter symphonic mood before closing with a heavy electric guitar climax. Lively skillful flute work everywhere you turn, plus a few saxophone appearances, all within the prog/classic-rock context. Also nice dreamy background synthesizer adding depth to the sound. Deserves the same recognition as heavyweights like Agape and The Exkursions. Produced by Pete Yates-Round of Parchment and released on the British Grapevine label. (Ken Scott - Heavenly Grooves blog)

Present is an Avant-Prog band from Belgium. Flute is quite a lot played on. It's also amazing and pretty pleasant to check this excellent proggy style out was realised in 2009. Its sound seems belonged to an earlier prog-rock time. Enjoy camaradas. ;D

I'm far too lazy to trudge through 34 pages of stuff, but I've always loved the Quebecois prog band Harmonium. If you've not heard the superb albums Si on avait besoin d'une cinquième saison (If We Needed a Fifth Season) or L'Heptade, you're in for a mellow treat. Flute included liberally:
And of course the manic flute of Thijs Van Leer:

I posted some Malibran awhile back , but they became deleted on you tube.
A number of other Malibran you tubes have recently appeared.
A stange band , some good flute and playing in their compositions but unfortunately often let down by a shall I say politely ' interesting vocal 'delivery
