This, from the TalkTull folks: Last night's half-time performance by The Who included former Tull keyboardist, John Rabbit Bundrick, on keyboards. www.thewho.com/index.php?module=history&history_item=history_tourbandBundrick has been around forever, and if I'm not mistaken, played keys for Sandy Denny and/or Richard Thompson forty years ago. Rabbit is the AWESOME! ;D And he also could be Peggy's twin these days, haha... There's some fairly decent info on his Wikipedia page, but there's a much more complete discography on his own site. It looks like I've seen him at all 4 Who concerts I've been to (89, 04, 06, 07). And maybe not too shocking a thought, I own a goodly amount of the stuff on that album list, from a variety of people...

And he is such a lovely chap. But here´s another story: I don´t know for how many years I know Rabbit and I always knew that he is a keyboard player. He is on annA rydeR´s album "Papergirl". But nobody mentioned in which other band he plays. So one year at Cropredy we stood at the bar and had a pint, when a fan came over to Rabbit, asked him for an autopgraph and handed over a Who tour programme. And it was me - again without thinking before opening my mouth - who asked: "Why do you sign Who programmes?" He gave me that special look and said: "Because I am their keyboard player!"

He really has quite a diverse musical background, including the piano on the old Johnny Nash song, I Can See Clearly Now, which was a huge hit when I was young. Who would have thought it? Jeff

Another funny story, Ulla! But I would have probably asked the same question. I'm just not a fan of The Who, never have been. There music is okay, I don't hate it, but it really does nothing for me. I didn't even know Rabbit was in The Who, that's how little I follow them, but I did know that he has been around for a long time. I recently bought some Sandy Denny's CDs, and was surprised to see that he played piano and keyboards for her. Ordinarily she played piano herself, and was an execellent pianist, as I am sure you know. Jeff
