If so what? Me? I used to play a baritone and a contra-bass for a drum & bugle corp back in the mid 70's. Right about the time I started getting into Jethro Tull as matter of fact. I took drum lessons as a kid but was never that good. I'm also not very good on keyboards and flute too.

I have a dream....to form a music/comedy group with a bunch of 50+ year old men. All average musicians. No Professionals. Attitude is a must. Must be willing to relocate. Long hair, no hair, we don't care. We stop mid-way through a song to criticize each others playing, we take 20 minute breaks on stage and drink beer, we blatantly advertise for groupies(any cougar or feline is welcome), etc. Oh well, it sounds good on paper. Oh, I play guitar, sing and am the leader of the band. Simple.

Used to play some guitar...seriously just a LITTLE...like playing Kumbaya and that crap...in school...and learning Nirvana stuff because that crap was so easy.
Wanted to learn violin, never did, but I honestly don't think I can play any instruments well...which makes me admire true musicians all that much more. For awhile my feet were like musical instruments when I did hardshoe dancing...oh and I took chorus, but I honestly don't think I can carry a tune. hahah...
LOL
LOL again

There was one point in the Prov show that I was feeling good...and it included burping in Jen's face and laughing about it...she totally hated waiting out in the rain but she was a damn good sport about being burped at...and me wondering if there was any way I could go pee without getting out of my seat. As for dancing, I actually got a lot better since then...but then I've stopped because I've been pregnant like 8 times in the last couple years. HA! If I went back to it maybe I'd lose this baby flub.

which is surprising since it seems the people with us couldn't wait to get away...haaaa

I have "written" songs that were clearly influenced from others but when completed they sound nothing like the original idea. But maybe that's just because I'm not very good. ;D

I only really play the guitar nowadays. I grew up in the backwoods of West Virginia so most of what I like to play always has a large touch of Americana/Bluegrass. A lot different from Tull, I know, but I like to think of my musical tastes as somewhat diverse I tried playing the flute about two years ago. I figured out how to play most of Bouree, but other than that couldn't figure much else on it. A few months ago, I started to play the tin whistle, learned a few songs, albeit badly, but dropped it recently... I should take it up again. I've also been an avid mandolin player, but unfortunately in this moment and time in my life, I do not have a mandolin with me.
