Not quite printed memorabillia, but it probably sits here best. The Tull "fish-o-fax". Offered as one of the prizes in the Rock Island programme competition. It came with two signed inserts, one from Ian, the other from the rest of the band. front cover inside Insert 1 Insert 2Nice! I never saw one of those, which means obviously I didn't win.

Either I've gotta get a bigger monitor or you guys have got to reduce your images a little.

Now, here's a thing... 'Words - The record song book'.I posted this on the official board some years ago, and I'm told the scan's have made a reappearance in a couple of places albeit in a very low res state. These are also low res but here you get the entire thing not just a copy of a copy the cover. Words - Front cover from 01-05-71 print editionThese magazines came out regularly in the UK and featured the lyrics of chart hits. Despite being the 'Cover Stars' Tull didn't manage to get any lyrics reproduced, but they did have a review of the 'Aqualung' album, something that might be of interest given the forthcoming remastering of the same. I'll have to dig out the box marked 'Aqualung' to see all the other goodies that lurk within from 1971 ;D Words - Aqualung review from 01-05-71 print editionNow, if you have the original you know that you can also find a few references elsewhere in the magazine to our 'heroes' as well as their future musical compatriots. Words - Fan club contacts from 01-05-71 print editionYeah, of course record companies pass on your letters to the band, just like some people pass ..... In the same edition there was news of Nick Drake's then new album featuring Messrs Pegg and Mattocks together with a few other 'folkie' muso's. Words - Nick Drake album news from 01-05-71 print editionSo, there you go, if you need a tighter, more high res copy let me know....

Ah, this brings back many memories. Aqualung was my first Tull disc way back when. And you press on God's waiter your last dime as he hands you the bill.

;D Supplied with the UK 40th Anniversary programme, a 2008-2009 Tull year planner... it was a slow year that year This is a thread I haven't seen before. I am very impressed, especially with the Video Review piece with that hot blonde. It amazes me the way things get marketed from place to place. There are no specific plans for everyone. This is the stuff I would have picked up if I lived in the U.K. You guys have all the fun. ;D

Back in the early days of domestic or consumer videography, there were a lot of magazines doing the rounds which only managed to get away from being banished to the 'top shelf' by having a few bits which weren't soley related to T&A. This copy of the UK magazine, 'Video Review' from October 1981, was one such mag, a couple of pages devoted to music, new releases and how to wire up a Betamax gave it credence in any tech geeks briefcase....the scantily clad women were merely a distraction to the main feature....... Video Review October 1981 Video Review October 1981 - New releases Video review October 1981 - Coming next month...ahem! I just love a good video review. My wife doesn't mind as long as it's about Tull.

This was a great cover for Melody Maker. Were they the ones that said Tull was breaking up after the "Passion Play" tour?

This is a very cool book that was published in Germany. I got my copy through Amazon 3 or 4 years agao. I do not know if it is still in print. I paid over $100 for it, but it well worth it, some great pictures 69 to 87 many that I have only seen in this book. If I was any good with a digital camera I might try and put some up.

I have that book also Derek, well worth the price. The "Ian to Queen" video transition from Queen to bearded Ian, is a pic from that book. So useful! I really like the 1973 chapter.

Derek, I own a copy of this as well, and think it's a terrific book. Lots of rare photos I'd never seen before.
