Question #8 - Are you in good health? Nothing to indicate otherwise, so yes. Two questions left. Jeff

Do you accept gratuities on a regular basis? No, that wouldn't be typical in this occupation. One more question. Jeff

Another recap before the final question...... The person does not work in an office, but may prepare some incidental paperwork. Q #1 The person interacts with customers in a legal profession. Q#3 and #5 The person is NOT a steel monkey. Q#2 (Eliminates Steel Monkey) The person is NOT a good enough reason for a party. Q#4 (Eliminates Budapest) The person IS a male. Q#6 The person conducts business in an honorable manner. Q#7 (Eliminates Down at the End of Your Road) The person is in good health. Q#8 (This eliminates Working John, Working Joe) The person does not accept gratuities on a regular basis. Q#9 (I am not sure what this eliminates) I'll elect Dan or TM to ask the final question. I hope the answer is not some single line reference made in TAAB, etc, etc.

But I should have thrown that one out because of question#8 -Is the person in good health?-when we all know Harry's long gone now.

This is not a question for the contest, merely a philosophical one; is dead a health issue or a full time occupation? Discuss.

This is not a question for the contest, merely a philosophical one; is dead a health issue or a full time occupation? Discuss. I don't know, but thinking about it always freaks me out because I can't quite grasp the eternity part. That's what sucks about it. At Last Forever, indeed. Interesting, though, because it's really just a continuation of the state we were in before we were born, all those millions of years where we didn't feel a thing. That really wasn't so bad actually. The Roman lyric poet Lucretius, a follower of the Greek philosopher Epicurus, wrote in his epic poem De Rerum Natura, that death should not be feared because Nature provides a mirror in that way, i.e., a lengthy "preview" of what death will be like. Remember, after the tenth question, the Board will have three guesses. Jeff

HOLY SHIT!!!! I KNOW THE ANSWER!!!! IT IS SO OBVIOUS!!!! Shouldn't you wait until Paul poses the final question, Max, so as to "max-imize" your chances and not squander one of the three guesses, in case you are wrong? Jeff

Yet another recap before the final question. Note my update to Q#3 and Q#5..... The person does not work in an office, but may prepare some incidental paperwork. Q #1 The person interacts with customers in a legal profession. Q#3 and #5 (Eliminates General Crossing, since the general does not interact with customers. I THOUGHT THIS WAS THE ANSWER with Jeff slyly putting the quiz in the General Crossing category) The person is NOT a steel monkey. Q#9 (Eliminates Another Harry's Bar)
TM the final question is yours.

Here goes. Is the Tull job contained on a song that was recorded BEFORE "the big split"? (Note I said recorded, not released. Not that it makes a diff, I'm clueless )

If I/we had started and continued with this line of questioning, we probably could have pinpointed the actual LP/CD that the song is contained.

If I/we had started and continued with this line of questioning, we probably could have pinpointed the actual LP/CD that the song is contained. That would make the game too easy though, so in the future the yes/no question can only be pertaining to the occupation, as in the television show What's My Line, on which this game is based. But since I did not specify that earlier, the answer to your question is yes, the subject Tull-Toiler can be found on an album prior to the Big Split. Okay, all ten questions are in, and now The Board has three guesses. Fire away. Jeff

Ok, I'm finally here. Is it the policemen or security personnel from Crossfire? No, but I will not count that as one of the three guesses because you were posting it at around the same time I was answering the tenth and final question.....the Tull Toiler is on an album prior to the Big Split. Still three guesses left. Jeff
