As noticed on the german Laufi board. Regard the headline on the official Tullwebsite: www.j-tull.com/This could be a reunion. So who will join Ian during September in England?

We should all take a stab at guessing what it is. My guess is it's the obvious reunion of the 1973 band members who will be going out on tour performing A Passion Play.

Isn't it obvious? www.j-tull.com/news/deepalmerperformance8282010.htmJethro Tull will reunite with Dee Palmer for the first anniversary of her new cantata! (No, I didn't count the days... a website did it for me... And no, I certainly don't think this will happen, but it was a shock seeing that piece of news, before realizing it was from last year)

I think it's great, it brings back that sense of expectation that we had in the early days of Tull, whether it be a new album, a new tour, or what the stageshow might be. Thing is we can all make guesses and draw down info from old magazines, interviews and the like, but it seems this is how Ian wants to play it and on that basis I 'm pretty sure that it's going to work out to be a pretty special couple of years through 2012 and 2013 for Tull and Tull fans worldwide.

While you wait: & wait
Would be the one, would be the tea on toast. Would be the Son, would be the Holy Ghost. If this is not believable then you've just had one too few.

This could be a reunion. So who will join Ian during September in England? I hope not. As nostalgic as I am for 70s Tull, I can't see putting aside David Pegg, who has played with them for a factor of something like five times longer than any other bassist, even to see Jeffrey don the old stripes again.

This can be the only thing we are sure it won't happen this year, at least. M.

Maybe Ian will be launching a televised talk/music program similar to Elvis Costello's Spectacle [that's about the time of year the new programs roll out, yes?] THAT would be a good reason to turn on the TV!

Well..... since Ian has already said on radio and in print interviews that the TAAB anniversary will include the playing of the entire song, and Barriemore Barlow has said in print that he'd be very open to playing with the band again, maybe they can talk Jeffery into taking a paid vacation in stripes for 6 months. John Evan is said to have tendenitis in his hands and cannot play, but four out of five would do it for me! So........Dream large..... Darin Cody

For those who don't do Facebook, Steven Wilson reports on his FB page "Since Ian Anderson has been talking about this, I guess it's now official. I recently completed a brand new mix of Jethro Tull's "Aqualung" for a 40th anniversary edition. As always the remix is super faithful to the original, but with much improved sonic clarity (something that just can't be achieved with remastering). Also remixed for inclusion were many other studio tracks from the 1970-71 period (several previously unreleased), and a 5.1 mix. It should be out on EMI in September"
