Pat, Paul and Kevin have done such an excellent job making videos, so I decided to take a stab at it. Here is the okay, but far from perfect result.
It's a great song, but my CD is a little damaged resulting in a noticeable chirp in a few places.
As for the video, I had a lot of problems with captions (as you will see) and for some reason the dissolve feature worked fine when the project was open in moviemaker, but didn't work so great when I saved the finished vid.
I'll leave it up on The Jethro Tull Board youtube channel for a week or so, but then I'm probably going to take it down.

I've looked at it a few more times, and I think the video got better as it progressed and I started learning how to time the photos, etc., and I really liked the way the last 45 seconds turned out. I still have a long way to go though, especially with those freakin' captions that gave me so many problems. It All Trickles Down was the perfect song to set to a video montage. I like the descriptive lyrics, which flow nicely from one image to another, and also the combination of threatening/militaristic aspects of the song and the food/sex imagery, which Ian was doing quite a bit of in the nineties. It's too bad that the new one I made - of two numbers from Philip Pickett's Bones of All Men album -- was automatically muted by Warner Music Group when I uploaded it to youtube. Jeff

I'm glad you liked it, John, and thanks for the CD covers, which I took from your photobucket collection. Thanks for posting it on Hoffman's forum as well.
I always liked the song, but never realized how good it is until the last two weeks. It's an interesting song, and I agree with the person on Hoffman who says it's one of the best from the Dot Com sessions.
I wanted to do this song as a video because a lot of casual Tull fans may not be familiar with it, plus the lyrics are very conducive to doing a montage!

I don't use "uber-cool" that often...maybe the first time. Bask in it. LOL
