the few small clips in the beginning are the extra clips used in Tony Palmer's "All you need is love" (TV series from the 70's) I discovered that these extra clips were not used in the 75 minstrel video that has been posted before but only as b-roll clips for the TV show. I also determined what songs were being played and synced them to sound (from one show previous to the Paris show) This is just further proof that a pro shot 1975 concert film exsists or exsisted!

That footage is spectacular, I'd love to see that whole show.
I wonder if Martin still has that suit. ;D

Saw Minstrel in Montreal in 1975. The 2 things that I remember was the zebra with the tennis balls falling out of it's butt, and this Quebec biker chick that I thought was going to beat me up when I refused to buy her $5 piece of hash for $10. Oh yeah, and also we were the nosebleed section. lol

Thanks for uploading this - the full hour would be BY FAR the best live document of Tull, you can tell both video and audio are pristine, and it's very well shot. More importantly, it's Jeffrey Hammond Hammond era Tull, in all their glory. The moment Martin dives to the front of the stage in his silly suit at the start of Crosseyed Mary, I laughed - what great memories of this once incredible band. The world will be a better place if this is released!
As for Lester Bangs - how shall I put this... what an ass. He never liked Tull and made that clear in his reviews. He wrote back in 1972 that the TAAB show was "formulaic" with no substance, and now we learn that he "wasn't able to connect" with the non-rabbit. Connect with this Lester!
How do we get this released? I'll put up the first $500!
Matt
