I am really pleased that TAAB 2 appears to be selling as I read that one of Ians criteria for success for TAAB was that he hoped to not lose money by releasing it as he stated recording an album was very costly. The encouraging sales might make his other planned projects become a reality

Argh! I'll never bloody get TAAB2 I ordered it off "CDWOW" and 2 days agos they sent me an email saying, "Sorry there's a delay. It'll be with you in 6-10 days." And then yesterday another email, "Sorry we couldn't get stock of the item. Your order has been cancelled." So, I decided to do it the 'ol fashioned way and rang up my local record stores (by local I mean like 40 minutes away. Living in the country has its disadvantages) to see if they had it and none of them did. I should have gone with good 'ol reliable Amazon. Silly me...

If Ian really wanted to cash in... he would have timed a vinyl release to coincide with Record Day here in North America...

I pre-ordered and got it the day it was released without any same day shipping or anything. I ordered 2 more of the single discs the other day and they also arrived in 24 hours without the extra shipping cost. The local Barnes & Noble which I pre-ordered from still hasn't gotten any info and I cancelled their order. Dan

I received my CD+DVD from Amazon fairly quickly. In the meantime I (ahem) downloaded an "evaluation" FLAC to listen to, which I converted to mp3 for the car. I don't think I could have waited until the CD arrived from overseas! So I have sympathy!

Set list snaffled from Perth Yes friends this confirms are greatest fears. Ian has spent so much money on the stage production, he can no longer use printed copies for the light and sound technicians. We are now back in the good old days of writing out the setlist before the show and deciding which songs to play. The main concern is finding enough paper for the tour now.

Geeze do you think they have a tough time remembering what they are going to play and the order...lol That is an important decision to make. I remember several tours where most of the new material was played in the first set. This was done for marketing purposes and allowed fans to use their own judgement. I can only hope that "Aqualung" or "Locomotive Breath" will remain off this setlist. My desire for fresh Tull has no tolerance of playing to please the crowd. Remember : If anyone shouts out "Play Aqualung" during a performance, have security remove them immediately. At some point there will be an encore. Maybe.

there was no Aqualung last night in Perth.. Just TAAB 1 followed by TAAB 2... no encore either! I'm glad about that. It wouldn't feel right to do Aqualung, or any kind of an encore at all, after the concluding stanza of Brick 2. Ian was right to let it sit with that. The two albums together are about 100 minutes, so combined with another few minutes for theatrics, and a twenty minute intermission, that's a good length for a show. Jeff

I know I will.... Thanks, Charlie, and it's good to see you feeling okay and being so involved here on the Board. I've been going through a difficult stretch lately with some things that are causing me a lot of anxiety, but it will pass. As Winston Churchill once said, "when you are going through hell, keep on going." Jeff
