Lights wink out in the canyon walls Rock Island What about orbits This one I got - Single orbits gliding from The Clasp. With "canyons" I actually looked at Ears of Tin but that was as close as I came. Okay let's try this - the word is "canyons" once again, but obviously not from the song Rock Island. Good luck!

We should clarify if we can use IA solos or not. That was clarified in the original post. Note the title of this thread. YES to Ian solo albums. I'm clueless on "Mad Hatter". "March the Mad Scientist" is all that comes to my mind, but I don't recall any hatters mentioned. Heavy Horse- nicely done on nailing "caracal". Proceed with "Mad Hatter", then. I shall be scratching my head with the rest of you.

What's being said at the end of Pied Piper? Any chance it's being shouted there?

I don't recall any Tull song using the term "Mad Hatter". Yes. I am wondering if he was trying to pull a fast one and put a lyric to a song that was only played live and never recorded, "Hare in the Wine Cup." Maybe he heard , "Let's hope the Mad Hatter...something ..something.." If that is the case then there should be a disqualification because I believe , the correct line to the song is, "Let's hope the mad Patterdale Terrier's sleeping." www.dogbreedinfo.com/patterdaleterrier.htmSince no official lyrics were released maybe he can just give himself a spanking for trying to be sneaky and pick a new word. If it was in a song, then I will keep looking. Preston? Dan
