hi all
Last week(s) I did some Tull-concerts (Aachen, Tilburg and Luxemburg) which featured some nice surprises. The setlists were - of course - similar but contained a few differences...
Cross-eyed Mary was a the great opener (instead of Dun Ringill) in Tilburg and the Luxemburg-set had Thick as a Brick (instead of New Day Yesterday) and a instrumental part of Teacher in the encore... Nice to hear that song again!

I didn't like the fact that they were opening with Dun Ringill, for instance, since it was the same opening used on the solo acoustic tour last fall, whereas this is supposed to be TULL. So how did you like the shows? Of course, we would be very interested in your full review, if you have a chance! Jeff

Teacher! ... 35 years and 55 shows and I've NEVER heard Teacher... wow. Welcome to the board, Tullhead! You are right, it's rarely played. I think I saw them play it only once, I can't recall exactly when, but it was in the nineties for sure. Good to have another Tull brother with us! Jeff

Jeff Jeff, it was problably during the worldtour in 1997. Then, they played Theacher in a sort of medley with Minstrel in the Gallery and Bungle in the Jungle... A roadie gave me after the '97 concert Martin's songlist which mentions: BUNGLE/MINSTREL/TEACHER... Last week in Luxemburg, they played an instrumental version of Teacher which was integrated in Locomotive Breath... It was rather short, about a minute or a little bit more maybe, but it was surely a nice surprise! Stijn
