So great to see John looking healthy and happy! I am so sad that he does not play anymore. I wish he could play again.
I think Ian made the greatest mistake breaking up the 1976-79 line-up.

Yes it is a shame, but I can understand if there was a lot of tension in the group at the time. They had a great run though!¥¥¥¥

He must keep a very low profile (or uses another name?) No recent references to be found...

I've heard he lives in melbourne around the eastern suburbs. Same with cat Stevens. I work in that area. Should look out for them lol

I love John, one of the great eccentric performers of rock, and one of its greatest keyboardists. The depth of sound and atmosphere he added to "Benefit", his first full album involvement with Tull, changed them remarkably. The achievements of the 70's line-up are unthinkable without him. I would give anything to see him perform, tho that seems unlikely. I am glad to see him looking so fit in those pics. Good on ya, John!

That "John Evan Band" pic is a classic! Such fresh faced kids, hard to believe all this history comes out of such a relatively non-descript looking group. The latent talent like a ticking time bomb!

Laudable attempt Pat but Tulltapes wins the mystery ....prize with the answer BY KIND PERMISSION OF, and their just three of the many sources of that great piece. I recently saw someone refer to this piece as being "written" by John so I just thought I'd post those as a reminder of what it was.....;-) (and I dont doubt that Chico raided one or all of those!)
