Hi guys, I shot this at the AMI studio recently. Do I call this a "Cover Voiceover?" lol Anyway, as a TV narrator and 55 year old Tull fan, Ian's monologue has really stuck with me, making me ask the same questions about my own life. Please don't hate me for the interpretation, I just really love the words. Cheers, ~ Steve

You have a great voice Steve. Right up there with James Earl Jones! Paul

Thanks Paul! High praise indeed. I'll keep working on my Darth Vader chops.

Something similar to Orson Welles doing "War of the Worlds" on radio. Damn this is excellent and I heard it here first.

Thanks so much for the positive feedback. To be honest, I was a bit scared to post this, thinking it might be treading on sacred ground. Very glad you liked it. Cheers.

That was excellent Steve, you have a fantastic voice. Having hired some voice talent before I have to ask, are you a reader or a memorizer? Looked like you had the "What ifs...." down pat. Either way you have nothing to be timid about. 1st rate job. (like your flute playing too) Darin

Really top class interpretation. Thanks for posting and... maybe more Tull songs re-visited by you?

Cheers Jeff. If I can ever master that incredible 32nd note flute riff in Pebble instrumental, I shall give it a whirl. Ian's flute playing has steadily improved with time. I bow to greatness

Thanks Darin, I usually read copy in studio, but have been walking around so long with "Might have beens" in my head, I had it memorized by the time I made the clip. Just love the words. They really hit me where I live.

Nice job. I would like to see Ian invite you onstage to intro the Frances Wilson (BBC Weatherman) spoken beginning to one of my favorite Tull songs, "Dun Ringill" from the album/cd/mp3 Stormwatch.
"The weather's on the change.... "
