Wish they had hi-def TV cameras back then!
I remember thinking Tull was washed up after seeing the UW concert, there was simply no comparison to their concerts of a decade earlier. Still, 3 decades later I too can appreciate some of their music from that era.

Thanks Erin. The intro was great to see again and I look forward to watching the entire show again. But with that said, I remember Howard Stern mentioning that Ian while Ian was fooling with technology and samplers, he sampled his own "gas." So now I'm fairly "concerned" that's what we are hearing as Ian pokes the onstage props that are Under Wraps! lol Paul, That's alot of gas for Ian to have every night. He does like that spicy food though

Yeah the quality is not what we're used too, although it gets better and is actually pretty decent under certain lighting through the show. I also considered Tull pretty much washed up at the time. Especially in comparison to the 70's stuff. But looking at this now I think it's great! Apogee is a track i've always liked but I really love this performance live. That track is becoming one of my favorite Tull tracks? 30 yrs later! Also the Clasp is great, Pussy Willow, Walk into light material etc. It sounds like Ian's voice is still in tact. It was this tour where his vocals ware damaged forever but this is early in the tour and to my ear it's still holding up well. Nice score Erin Still trying to get through it all. I got the LA audio not long ago that I attended and the painful listening is still there. This though sounds great, it's the show I should've seen. Thanks for posting that. Darin

Thanks for posting, never really sought out any Tull videos from that era. Actually not too shabby a gig and set list if you remove the Under Wraps songs.
