30th June is so nearly here. So looking forward to seeing this gig again and in a such a grand venue, how could one resist. Absolutely skint, but without any quarms, opted for v.i.p ticket. Ooops! Just recovering from my injuries I sustained from when the other half found out!
Just wondering what the likelyhood of getting the odd item signed by IA and band is?

Just recovering from my injuries I sustained from when the other half found out! Just wondering what the likelyhood of getting the odd item signed by IA and band is? In two weeks I'll go to two concerts, and not far from where we live: Turin and Verona. ::)I'm very anxious and can't wait to be there. Fortunately my daughter also accompany me, so will I not hide myself from the other half. Get well soon from injuries, Duncman, I recommend to be in perfect shape to the show!!

Hello to all. I'm leaving for Turin, where in a few hours I'll be 'in the presence of " King Ian ". The weather looks promising, so I can 'make the trip on a motorcycle. Tomorrow, however, concert in Verona. Even two concerts in two days! Will refer 'my impressions Wednesday' next. I'm curious to see if the set list will be 'the same as the previous "The Best Of" concerts.

Hello to all. The concert, I mean also applies to Turin, went very well. Maybe the fact that he took a break from TAAB 2, the Band has done well in the sense that TAAB 2 is not easy show to perform with deadlines to be met, a story, choreography, etc.. The boys seemed more relaxed, instead. Sorry to say, but on Witches Promises, in the beginning, Ian took a cut clearly. For a second or two just did not sing ... happens, that's not a problem for me. I must also say that as usual he insisted with SFTW, and has made a considerable effort, but no decline in voice, but '. Luckily there was no "Heavy Horses", another track difficult. All the rest of the concert, however I would say very well. There 'was a minimum of choreography during the show, I do not know if the fact that, in the end, the Tour of "The Best Of" is fairly short, or what. Maybe that's the reason. The location of Turin, and 'was normal, nothing special, as I say all the evil of Villafranca. I already had 'heard of the " Scaligero Castle" and I thought who knows' what it was. It 'a fence almost dilapidated, with high walls is not optimal for acoustics, and do not allow air to circulate (in the afternoon there were 38 degrees), luckily my wife was not there. The merchandising was reduced to a banquet of two feet x one, NO poster to commemorate the event, and it smells of food and seasoning all the time .. sad. Such cheap managing. Our beleoved Band, would deserve much more ! Regarding the Band, only them, so I would say very very well. It is definitely worth going to "The Best Of". Here we have the precious Set list : Living in the Past, Beggar Farm. Witches promises. Thick s Brick 1 . Banker bets Banker wins . Wootton Bassett Town. Cross eyed Mary . Bouree Too old to Rock and Roll. SFTW . Hunting Girl. My God. Budapest . Aqualung . Locomotive Breath

Hi Michele, and thanks for the review. Sorry to hear the venue was not ideal and Ian chose to sing some of the songs he has trouble with. I guess there is no Ryan on this tour to help him?

It has been a wonderful concert, as always. The venue was not up to the reputation of the guests, but the professionalism 'has been at the highest level, thanks to the Band. Solittle time is passed from Tuesday , and already I can not wait to be at the next concert. Ian is helped in parts by John Goodier, since Ryan, was not there, but few vocal parts, actually.
