No debating, no right or wrongs, no hemming or hawing, no three best Tull songs ever, no three favorite songs this minute but just your own personal three favorites. I understand Ian not picking favorites because his songs are like his children but I was riding with my daughter the other day and commented that Dun Ringill is my all time favorite Tull tune. So.. #1. Dun Ringill Whenever I hear this song it conjures up Ghosts of Concerts Past, Present and Future. Puts me back in Madison Square Garden ,a thousand rows away ,during the Stormwatch Tour, probably at the height of my Tull awareness. #2. Fires At Midnight The last song on Side One. (Remember sides?) Reminded how much I loved this song when the Christmas remake came out a few years ago. Just a relaxing long sigh at the end of a day.(Even with Martin's guitar) My aural Xanax... #'s 1 and 2 and were easy and had to hold my feet to the fire for #3. #3. Back Door Angels A song that can have you swaying back and forth one minute and pumping your fist, the next. Close #3's: Farm On The Freeway Minstrel In The Gallery Cold Wind To Valhalla The Third Hoorah A Time For Everything

My top 3 Tull tunes are ducks in a row. ;D
Requiem One White Duck / 010 = Nothing At All Baker Street Muse
Always taunting me: Glory Row Rainbow Blues Wind Up (you had the whole damn thing all wrong - He's not the kind you have to wind up on Sundays.)
Cheers!

Man--choosing top 3! Definitely a hard task. I don't know if these are permanent, but they are what comes to mind right now.
1. Baker Street Muse - I didn't think I would choose this as my number one, but given all the times I've listened to it, and all it means to me, I think it deserves the spot. At least for now.
2. The Clasp - Beautiful lyrics that are married perfectly to the amazing music (albeit a bit dated), and just about the most right on and interesting critique of society I've heard.
3. 17 - Such a unique and youthful side of Tull. Different from everything else they've done, but really well done, both in sound and in spirit.
