Hi, I had an interesting experience last weekend in Switzerland, playing Tull in the wonderful landscape of Basel Land in Switzerland that I wanted to share. I wrote it up here: medium.com/p/437175bfde31Cheers, Dirk PS: TM if this doesn't qualify as a Tull story enough then feel free to remove this topic.

Made me think of "the Clasp" "Sit down as strangers will let the stress unload" What songs were you playing while out there? Darin

Hi Darin,
thanks for this kind comment! I didn't think of 'The Clasp', but you are absolutely spot on!
I played all acoustic guitar numbers from our playlist for tomorrow which is: Mother Goose A new Day Yesterday Skating Away Minstrel in the Gallery (the beginning) Wondring Again We used to know (not my fav, but I got overruled in the band :-) ) Weathercock Velvet Green (awesome!) Whistler Thick as a Brick (the beginning) Jack in the Green (that was lovely to play there!) Witch's Promise (also very nice in the wood) My God
Not on our playlist for tomorrow but on my personal one: Heavy Horses (which will be on the list very soon) Broadford Bazaar (why wasn't that on the LP?) Solitaire Rover (you'll find me everywhere :-) )
Most of the titles I played three times, getting more confident in this beautiful landscape with heavy wheather brewing.
Oh, and I did Dunn Ringill We will most likely not perform this live but this is one of my favorites.
Best, Dirk
