I had the sudden intrigue to look up information on the written-but-not-released Tull song "Apocalypse" and came across these lyrics on a run o' the mill lyrics website. Can anyone confirm these may be the lyrics? Jethro Tull Apocalypse
Halt the ringing cry of progress sang the horseman riding by through support the good God gave us riding back to yesterday yesterday.
Turn the tables in the temple rang [bring] the hoardings from the Life is [insurance] gentle horseman [in]corporate efficiency efficiency.
Some pieces for your daily tune/ Stop chasing for your daily dues the race is run no price you lose start craving for your daily news. There's [no more said] to change your views
The brokers breathless useless let reason bring us to exceed now you hold the reins of the apocalypse.
Galvanise yourselves to action cast inside iniquity And to this hand voice spoken The rites of ancient history / write your names in history in history.
Halt the ringing cry of progress sang the horseman riding by through support the good God gave us riding back to yesterday yesterday to yesterday yesterday.
I didn't know these lyrics were available. I cannot guarantee this website is free of spyware and viruses so if you choose to visit be sure your anti-virus protection is on: letras.kboing.com.br/#!/jethro-tull/apocalypse/ EDIT found again on an english language website: www.seeklyrics.com/lyrics/Jethro-Tull/Apocalypse.html

Good stuff. I wish Ian would dust this one off 'from the attic'. Dan

I have, it is very good stuff.
I assume it is Dee Palmer who has the lyrics and music on file?

Hi, I loved the bit of this song that was played on the 1979 BBC documentary. Would love a copy of the boot of that Itullian convention. Is there anyone that can help me out? Thanks, Pieter

But boy, would I love for a Jethro Tull version to pop up, like we were surprised by Jack-a-Lynn once. I feel that Apocalypse is at least on the same quality level.
Ah, the old Tull, makes me soo happy
