On the songs from the wood remaster: "Amazingly, we found some unreleased material and other versions of some material so a veritable bonanza for the Tull-geeks is at hand. Whatever turns you on."
Looking good!

They should have put this and Heavy Horses in a wooden crate with lots of fancy pics and stuff and charged me a lot... and I'd have pay. I absolutely love this period...

Looking good! Right....the promo material describes a totally forgotten piece of music from the SFTW sessions, called 'Old Aces Die Hard' which according to Ian is an extended and highly evolved piece that was ready to go, but somehow fell through the cracks and never saw the light of day. Neither he nor anybody else remembered it, but now it has somehow resurfaced and will be on the Steven Wilson box set. Very exciting, especially if it clocks in at ten or twelve minutes or more. Yeah, yeah, I know. I said I wouldn't buy another damn remaster. I am flooded with Tull CDs already. But. I. Just. Can't. Help. Myself.
I'll stop after this one. For sure.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I said I wouldn't buy another damn remaster. I am flooded with Tull CDs already. But. I. Just. Can't. Help. Myself. I'll stop after this one. For sure. I only buy the Steven Wilson remaster sets if they contain a significant amount of previously unreleased or unheard material, at least two songs worth. So that meant no to the Passion Play and Thick as a Brick sets, no to Benefit, no to the recent Elevated Stand Up and the Aqualung set only as a ten dollar download, because the Full Morgan version of Wondring Aloud/Again was in itself worth it. The only Steven Wilson Tull sets I have bought in their entirety so far are War Child (which actually has a lot of "new" stuff), TOTRNR (for Commercial Traveler and Advertising Man), and Minstrel in the Gallery for the full concert that is included on that one. The forthcoming SFTW set is a no brainer because it sounds like 'Old Aces Die Hard' could be 20 minutes long. Jeff
