Ever wondered who the ballet dancer was on the album cover was, well it turns out she was one of Benny Hill's dancers runstop.de/colthorpe.htmlscroll down a bit and you'll find the reference made by dancer and actress Jane Eve (Colthorpe). Q - Did you have other areas you were interested in working? A - No, only dance. Classical ballet was my first love and one of my first jobs was as a ballet dancer on an album cover for Jethro Tull, "A Passion Play" and in the film that was shown at his concerts at that time called "The Hare who Lost his Spectacles".

Interesting. For some reason I always thought that was Jennie Anderson.

Great trivia find, Quizz, and it's funny you should bring that up because I've always suspected IA was a Benny Hill fan, perhaps he had even met him at one point. If you remember the Kissing Willie video, that certainly resembled something from the Benny Hill show, the way they were chasing those women around with outsized phallic symbols. Maybe that explains how Ian found the dancer for the Passion Play cover. Jeff
