Hi to all. After many years spent following Jethro Tull touring in my country, Italy, i see they decided to include my home town, Monza in the 2010 World Tour . I went in many places in Italy and even abroad to see the shows and i must say i' m really expectant or better, affected because of that....J.T on my "home soil". I bought the tickets few weeks ago because there was a pre-sell, but today the website is update with the date confirmed: 12 July, here!! In a two weeks i' ll be watching them in Genova, always Italy, but the show so near my home got another taste.

Chea, Its good to hear of your enthusiasm for the show, I think it always adds to the anticipation when the show is in your home town. I hope you can spare the time for us folks on the board to do a review of the gig.

I can tell you from personal experience there is nothing better than seeing Tull close to where you live or work. I have seen Tull and Ian quite a few times at the Beacon Theater, a block away from where I was living at the time. More recently, I have seen Tull at Carnegie Hall, and IA at the Rose Theater in the AOL Time Warner Building. Both of those venues are literally a minute and a half from my office, so I was able to walk there right after work! Great to hear from you as always, and enjoy the shows. We look forward to your reviews! Jeff

I find this show very moving as i remember me when a was a little more than a kid, riding my bicycle around that huge palace and it' s gardens listening for my first Jethro Tull tapes from the stereos caps....,so, the thought they are going to be here is really something special..

I'm good, Michele, also preparing for some Tull shows next month, and hoping for a good setlist and passable vocal performance by Ian. The venue in Monza sounds very nice, and the fact that you have fond memories of it dating back to your childhood will, I am sure, make this a very memorable show for you! Jeff

Hi Jeff. All i can tell you about Ian's voice is that i' ve found it rather ok last March in Manchester. I did' nt appreciated very much the set list. i mean, all the songs were a very good choice Only i' ve found a lack of songs like "Hunt by Numbers", "Panama Freighter", i mean something more "animated",a bit too much slow set list. :)But i can assure you, it worths anyway... :PM.

Hi to All As i told days ago, i went with some friends to the Genova' s Tull show. Here we have the set list : Dun Ringill Beggar ' s Farm Life is a Long Song Jack in the Green Eurology Nothin is easy A New Day Yesterday Songs from the Woods Crossed eyed Mary Hare in the Wine Cup Bouree - 20 minutes pause- Past time in Good Company A Change of Horses My God Budapest Aqualung Locomotive Breath What can i say? The show surprised me very much. The one i saw in March i' ve appreciated a lot, but it seemed to me a bit " slow ",i thought then. Friday evening J. T was in an huge good shape. The set list got little differences that made it so pleasant. I really love the show starting out with Ian alone sitting on a tall chair singing Dun Ringill with water sound. Really moving. Songs as BF, LiaLS, aNDY, Bouree, Aqualung, Lb were played in a beautyful way. Eurology, i' m not able to get it out of my head. aCoH every time i listen to that, it reminds me a song which i really love: a Better Moon, somehow. the new entry HitWC a deep atmosphere song. PTiGC...beautiful. Ian' s voice, i believe he did a little cure because i ' ve found it very stable all along the show Like some other times, he met some little difficult singins SFtW and JitG, as well. i can't understand why ever to carry on with that pieces..:shake: Ah!,a lovely version of Budapest. No Doane' s drum solo this time. I haven' t got any picture to show because my camera is far, togheter with someone very young of my family You see, no respect, i'm considered me Too Old to Rock and Rool, it's clear....:agree: Some friends of mine did it, i will be posting when available. Ian is famous as a great musicians, and because of his strong personalyty, too. I believe Genova won't be visited by J.T for a long time, in the future due to a bad event happened at the very last part of the show, performing Locom Breath. A young boy jumped on the stage, half nacked, not in good conditions letting the security staff away from him and staring several seconds not more than two meter close to Ian, that's the most serious fact, before being caught...DHUR!! Exept that, an extremely good show, much balanced i'm very happy for them, and i thank a lot for theyr engagement. I'm m sure Ian and all the boys love theyr Fans. M.

Thanks for much Chea for the detailed review! Glad to hear you had a great time and that Ian's voice was in good form that night. If I ever make it to Italy I will bring you a new camera! Cheers, Paul
