When we last left off, the Tull tribute band Cross-eyed Mary was doing Aqualung and I promised that next up I would be featuring the Tull tribute band Aqualung doing Cross-eyed Mary. (On the album they both pretty much want to do each other, and in Tull Tribute Band Land they actually do! ;D) So now I am going to keep my promise.
Hailing from Florida, and sporting a front man who is the perfect cross between Ian Anderson and Mick Abrahams, here are Aqualung doing their rendition of Cross-Eyed Mary:
From the same show, Hymn 43. I think you'll agree, the guy plays a mean flute:
A well-sung Nothing to Say, rarely performed by any of the Tull tribute bands:

And finally a slide show from various Aqualung gigs, set to their replication of Wind Up:
We'll be adding more of their covers later, as they have a lot of videos up on youtube, and of course we'll get these lads over here to The Jethro Tull Board, the international Tull tribute band internet mecca!

Not sure if you intended it to be Jeff, but that is some very funny stuff, the perfect cross between Mick and Ian, I am certain they would each get a kick out of that vision, would love to hear their assessment. Especially if you are saying it in a New York accent, Brooklyn would be ideal.

Oh, for sure I was intending it in a humorous way, because it is just so funny that this Tull tribute band found a lead man who resembles both Ian and Mick....who both wanted to be the leader of the early Tull. Maybe if they had combined themselves it would have worked out! Jeff
