The band was founded at the end of 2009 at the initiative of guitarist and bassist Lorenzo Costantini and Claudio Maimone, real historical memories of that magical moment lived in Italy in the early '70s in the concerts of Jethro Tull are a key to understanding the fundamental the landscape not only music but also socio-cultural and custom. The intention of our own is to try to recreate the energy that the early Jethro Tull knew transmitted live, but to pass on to younger generations a legacy, a legacy of unique emotions accumulated witnessing the performance of the most representative Ian Anderson Group in Italy (Teatro Brancaccio in Rome in 1971 and the Palaeur still in Rome in 1972) and abroad (Isle of Wight Festival in 1970). To join us in this wonderful adventure the flutist and singer Alex Mevi, already active with the acoustic duo "The whistlers," which returns to the acoustic side of Jethro Tull, the keyboard player Gianluca de 'Rossi, who with "Taproban" before and "De Rossi & Bordini" then, has managed to create a name in today's landscape of Italian Progressive Rock, and Gabriele Cannone, very "heavy" solid drummer from the hard-rock-metal area. Here are the latest videos from Undertull, the great Italian Tull tribute band. Like The Jethro Tull Board, they're only about a year old, but they really do Tull right!
Thanks for sending me these, "Jeffrey53"!
