Hi, Julia! You may not have Halloween to look forward to this month in Finland, but you do have a few Ian Anderson shows coming up there, in a few weeks I think. So, are you going? Jeff

Jeff unfortunetly i am not goin. Too many bands i love are coming to finland on these last few months and i surely dont swim in money so i had to make some brutal decisions. including cutting Ian Anderson off my calendar (because i allready saw jethro tull in the summer) sooo i sure hope the thick as a brick tour stops here next year.

That's understandable, with ticket prices what they are, but do save up for that Brick tour....hopefully there will be one or two of those in Finland next year! Jeff

Don't tell my wife. I just found a rare photo of the Queen of Halloween, Elvira Mistress of the Dark! This was bought today at an antique thrift store nearby. Notice the framed pics and a wire coming from an Elvira clock.(upper right) This had to be taken by someone she trusted as a friend. This is extremely rare and I have never seen another before. I love Elvira! Her album is also great: Elvira's Monster Tits (Hits)

She, like the other horror hosts you posted, started on our local LA Channel 9. Her name is Cassandra Peterson and she's a redhead!.....She used to live next door to a girl I was seeing up in north Hollywood back in the 80s, and would come over with her blender and we'd make Margaritas. Real nice girl, very regular and funny. I think she'd started as a stand-up comic but she didn't like talking about Elvira much, except to say that the extreme push-up was a total pain. Darin

I just watched the Rains' Phantom the other day, and sorry, but it was a stinker! No real drama or suspense, the unmasking scene was yawner, etc. Maybe the Chaney one was just so damned great I'm spoiled. A lot of folks like the rains' version, but I'm not one of them.

Lol so negative....I just like the straight on image of Rains that was on the cover of Famous Monsters back in the day. His mask was great, and yes Chaney's Phantom ruled all. Darin

Peter Cushing I can't be happy when he shows up. He destroys Vampires. Especially the sexy ones that Dracula likes. I know it's a job, but these vampire chicks need love too. Hammer Time again.

I am in a state of SHOCK. I just found out why Elvira, Mistress of the Dark and spokesmodel for Coors Light Beer has lost her job. For some reason they thought she was too sexy to sell Beer. All I can say is let's buy Elvira's new Halloween Beer instead of Coor's Light. Read all about it at this link. www.beerinfo.com/index.php/pages/ElviraCoorsLight.html

Has anyone seen Elvira as Sarah Palin? Elvira stands for Freedom to Party! She's got my vote. I don't care what Party she belongs to. I just want her on T.V. every chance she gets.

September 30th, 1997 / 32 cent stamps If the U.S. Postal Service, which is an arm of the Federal Government, declares these Monsters to be real, then who are we to disagree? Abbey Road

Hey, I would vote for her! She would be much better than what we have now. It was a hot night in Budapest.
