What I've always loved about Tull's acoustic numbers is their almost instant accessibility, despite them being anything other than trivial in compositional and/or lyrical terms.
1. Inside - one of my favourite Tull songs, has that wonderful otherworldly feel, much like the rest of Benefit 2. Wond'ring Aloud - lovely lyrics, quite subtle for a love song, a string arrangement that can make you cry 3. Skating Away (On the Thin Ice of a New Day) - one of the two songs off War Child that, for me, really stand out (the other being the title track), it's great fun 4. A Christmas Song - great lyrics and musical arrangement (which 'bites' just as much as the lyrics) 5. Up the 'Pool - as said in the 'favourite song from each album' thread, I love the song's 'domestic' feel and figuring out the references in the lyrics is a lot of fun 6. Life Is a Long Song - very meticulously composed, but still accessible 7. Sossity; You're a Woman - wonderful acoustic guitar work (really nicely paired with the organ also), great atmosphere 8. Fat Man - because it's Fat Man! ;D 9. Witches Promise - I've always loved that 'open' A minor chord that Martin Barre is strumming throughout the song 10. Mother Goose - goes exactly where 'Jeffrey Goes to Leicester Square' was striving to go

I think most of my favorite Tull songs are acoustic.

In no particular order:
1. Reasons for Waiting 2. Fat Man 3. Mother Goose 4. Witch's Promise 5. Life is a Long Song 6. Solitaire 7. Salamander 8. Velvet Green 9. One Brown Mouse 10. Dun Ringill
And various acoustic sections from Thick as a Brick (part I), A Passion Play (Jack Rabbit Mister), and Minstrel in the Gallery (Cold Wind to Valhalla, Pig-Me and the Whore, Mother England Reverie).
You could've really asked for 20 favorites, and I'd still have more beyond that.

Especially excerpts from Baker Street Muse, one of my favs. ....I'll pay the bill and make her well. Like hell, you bloody will.

There are so many brilliant acoustic intros, I figured they spoke for themselves.
