IMO this is among the greatest works by Ian/Tull. Kudos to Florian for the tasty phsychedelia guitar riffs. That guitar takes me back to somewhere in the the late sixties, SF/Jefferson Airplane era. Really great.

A highlight for sure. Oh what a pleasant surprise, Kismet in Suburbia. Banker Bets, Banker Wins or this for the #1 prize? Time will tell...

My #2 favourite from TAAB2...right after Adrift And Dumfounded.

"Kismet..." is one of my four favorite tracks from the album, fresh and new while still with echoes of classic Ian/Tull. The music, the lyrics, and, yes, even the singing, are wonderful!

Yes, it is rather good! If one reads the title of a song, and instantly said song replays in your mind, it must be ok! This is one of those.

Anyone else thinking the vocal melody of the verses might be a variation of the "A Change of Horses" theme? Or am I completely crazy now?

It's definitely grown on me, I'm playing it a lot now...like the later versions of the refrain, "33 Mulberry Drive..." & "54 Mulberry Lane". The only downside to the song is that it will mean the live show is coming to an end
