Having seen Tull and Ian's solo band many times through the years I've seen quite a succession of musicians passing through the ranks. Given Ian's widely acknowledged vocal problems, I wondered if it might have made sense when recruiting a new bassist, keyboard player etc. that he should choose someone who could sing. Ryan O'Donnell took some of the burden on the last tour, but if you don't play an instrument you're a bit of a spare part on stage. Simply hiring a musician with the ability to handle some of the hard vocal lines would seem a simple solution to a long running problem, so why has it never been considered.

I thought that's why Ryan was there as well.....it is a great point, though......
