I think I found his place on google Earth once. I guess its a bit stalkerish but I find it all fascinating and if I had his money I'd have staff too, well, maybe just a cleaner and someone to keep the garden tidy. Wouldn't fancy such a big house though.

Interesting to see the kitchen. I'm guessing it's Smallbone. Beaded inset with recessed bottoms to mask the under-counter lights. I probably would have recommended a light-rail moulding which would have given the bottom of the cabinets a nice detailed finish which would play off the dentil/crown nicely.
Someone is into baking since the island drops there which makes it easier for rolling out dough. Nice big hearth over the Aga, with a well-positioned shelf behind which holds cooking utensils and um - Tull license plates!

Ah I only just noticed the slide show. Great view out the bedroom. A Delight to see the live room of the studio, shame there isn't one of the control room. I've been wanting to see inside the studio for years, the making of videos have given some insight. Its actually a very modest studio but a good size for the job. Clearly those pics were taken recently, maybe at the end of recording/rehearsal. Fascinating.

I like the kitchen, the orchards and the pool room....which, I love the "Well, I don't swim in the pool but I play in here..." The ones at the beginning of the slide show remind me of my grandmother's house and the same type of paintings and decor she'd have. It's very New Englandy. Or maybe New England is very England. I guess that's why they call it New England though. He'd just need some braided rugs.

Whoever bakes in said kitchen is left handed.

But then I suspect the Walmart isn't exactly round the corner there. No mention of an in house barber either.

No mention of an in house barber either. I didn't understand any of that! Lol. Sorry, cultural and generation gaps there. My mistake, I was tired and there was a tornado warning. I wasn't thinking clearly. So that's why the first part didn't register. As to the in house barber, I don't know why. I think I was just needing a haircut and it popped up. You know how implusive I am.
